As loyal customers of Airbnb, we’ve sought out and stayed in some truly unique places. Our recent stay at Scarabeo Camp in the desert outside of Marrakech, however, was enough to make us re-think our default accommodations.
Turns out, we love glamping!
If you have plans to visit Morocco, spending time in the desert is a must to recharge and experience something completely different from the bustling streets of cities such as Marrakech or Rabat. And if you’re unsure that glamping is your thing, let these photos ease you into the idea…
Highlights for us included a sunset camel ride, riding an ATV over the dunes, delicious lunches, and tea under the stars. You’ll be calling your Moroccan tent home in no time.

Post authorYou’re so welcome! Their rates change (and we visited almost 2 years ago, so I don’t recall what we paid!), I’d recommend emailing them — http://www.scarabeocamp.com/en/rates/

What a great blog post! I’d love to visit Marrakech one day and this is great information. I love that the resorts have their own mini pools lol.

Ohh I love this! Do I organize this on my own or is there a travel agency or a company I can go through? Thanks!

Post authorThanks Cyrelle! We organized directly through Scarabeo Camp, and they were super helpful. Their contact info as at the bottom of their site: http://www.scarabeocamp.com/en/philosophy
