Oulanka National Park bridges in the winter FinlandI couldn’t resist sharing photos from one of my favorite days in Lapland, Finland. Our last stop of the trip was a small town called Kuusamo, which is nearbyΒ Oulanka National Park. It’s a beautiful area that is completely transformed into a winter wonderland this time of year!

Lately our travels have been more focused on cities and architecture, so there was something incredibly refreshing about spending our last day in Finland exploring the beautiful landscapes and picturesque views of Lapland. Jacob and I spent the entire day in this park, exploring different paths, bridges, areas and more. I’ve never seen so much snow in my life! The best part: some hiking paths were so covered we could even slide down them instead of walk. It really made us feel like kids again!
